Welcome bags, guest books, card boxes, bridal party gifts, programs, table numbers, signs... The list goes on and on. These are the wedding "extras" that we stress over during the planning process when trying to cross off items on the never ending to-do list. Just the thought of spending more money on these details usually makes people cringe!
One "extra" that many couples choose to splurge on is the beloved wedding favor. For centuries, people have purchased small gifts to give their guests as a thank you for helping make their day one to remember. Guests LOVE this part of a wedding, and happily take this memento home with them to remember the day by.
"But what favor can we get for our guests that they will actually like?" This is the question we all ask ourselves when planning for our big day. No one wants to pour money into a gift that is going to be tossed or left behind. Many couples put a lot of time and energy into picking out a thoughtful gift that is fun and reflects their personality and/or relationship.
Lindsey and DJ mastered the art of choosing the PERFECT wedding favor. Their gift was meaningful AND it served multiple purposes: 1) a favor 2) an escort card and 3) a snack.
The guests at this wedding were thrilled to find their personal cookie before entering the reception. Many didn't even make it to the table before enjoying the yummy treat! This gift was extremely special, because both the bride and groom are App State alumni. They found such a unique way to pay tribute to being proud Mountaineers. These cookies designed by Carolina Confection were definitely a crowd favorite and were enjoyed by all!
Lindsey and DJ not only did an amazing job at picking out the perfect multi-purpose wedding favor, but they also made sure that the details for their wedding truly reflected their relationship. This made for such a unique and memorable day.
