The ATOS Interns

Updated: Aug 29, 2019

How did our team survive before hiring interns? WE DON'T KNOW and do NOT want to return to the times before these girls joined our team. Hailee and Madelyn are our 2019 interns, and have consistently been our go-to girls who help with anything under the sun (and more) on event days. If you have worked with us this year, you have definitely seen them running around taking care of our mile long to-do lists. These girls have made life so much easier and pleasant for our planners! We definitely hit the jackpot when they applied for the positions and are hoping to keep them around for a long time (or forever). Want to get to know a little more about Hailee and Madelyn? Keep reading!

Hi everyone!

My name is Madelyn. I am a rising senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I grew up in a small town, and family ties are something I hold close to my heart. Most of my free time is spent tending to my sweet goldendoodle puppy. I am currently majoring in Exercise and Sports Science, and heading towards a career within the medical field. I have always had a heart for serving others, regardless of the situation.

Working with a bride on her special day is an experience unlike any other. First of all, who doesn’t love a wedding? Being awarded the opportunity to serve as an intern for ATOS has not only taught me more about the world of weddings, but has taught me more about myself. I have been able to take part in many beautiful brides’ special days, and I have been able to do so alongside an amazing team. Not only are the women of ATOS empowered women, but they have taught me to instill this characteristic in myself.

As I mentioned before, family is one of, if not the, most important part of my life. While a wedding is a special day for the bride and groom, being a witness to the joining of two families is one of my favorite parts. Seeing the joy on the faces of those who helped the couple to this point in their lives never fails to fill me with joy.

Hi friends!

My name is Hailee. I am a rising sophomore at East Carolina University in the Honors College. I grew up in the great Rockingham County, NC so I am a small town girl born and raised. In my free time you can usually catch me watching Netflix with my friends or grabbing lunch with my grandparents. I am an intended nursing major with hopes to one day work in a NICU. Being able to change a life has always been a dream of mine and with this career path I will be able to do this everyday.

Changing a life is also what I love the most about being an intern. Being able to be apart of one of the most special days in someone’s life will never get old. I love being able to see an idea on paper then watch it come to life beneath my own hands. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of women to work with, and I can absolutely say I love everything about being an intern at ATOS.

It may sound cheesy but my favorite part of weddings is getting to see the bride’s dress. Growing up I always wanted to be a princess (and part of me still does), so being able to see these women dressed so perfectly makes me smile every time. I also believe that the dress carries so much meaning, there are so many emotions attached to the dress from when they first pick it out until she finally gets to walk down the aisle. Along with that it gives me lots of ideas for when I hopefully get married way down the road.
