Most people spend their Fourth of July weekends on a beach, on a boat, or by the lake. Part of the ATOS team spent ours celebrating the marriage of Isabel and Will – and let me tell you, we still saw fireworks – even if they weren’t the kind the rest of you were watching.
Isabel and Will are what we like to call a “Power Couple” these days. They both have great careers, educations, heads on their shoulders, and to see the two of them interact – is basically like watching a Disney fairytale playing out right in front of your own eyes.
They chose a clean and playful color pallette with bold blues. By intermingling pretty pinks and all the hues of blue, even the hot temps outside couldn’t keep you from feeling the coolness. The attention to detail is what truly set this wedding apart from others. For cocktail hour, three signature drinks were offered to guests, named – quite charmingly – after the bride and groom’s three furry children. The Dash, The Trace, and The Lucy were all big hits and the presentation delivered by Holly Tate Fine Catering was unparalleled! Another charming detail was the choice to offer a dessert buffet opposed to your typical wedding cake. Atop of the beautiful piece from Eventful NC sat pies, cookies, puddings, and brownies. Let me be the first to tell you – they were as delicious as they were cute!
Every guest had a blue vintage water goblet of varying colors of blue at their table setting. This small detail added a uniqueness to each setting that felt cozy, and as if each guest was sitting down for dinner at a family table, verses a large setting like a wedding reception. These goblets were handpicked by Eventful NC’s collection as well.
The night ended as the couple danced with those who had traveled near and far to celebrate their love story. The belted the lyrics to “Don’t Stop Believing” as any good wedding night should end and sealed their night with a kiss under the stars in front of the beautiful McAlister-Leftwich House, sandwiched between rows of sparklers.
