BOSS UP LADIES!

Updated: Sep 5, 2019

"Just a Girl Boss - Building her empire!"

Amanda and I pride ourselves in being girl bosses. It's an idea that has become increasingly popular in the last decade, but don't let the feisty words of "girl boss" fool you - it's HARD work. We rarely have free time as we are constantly working on our brand, our product, and for our clients. There is certainly never a dull moment in the ATOS office, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We are proud to have had the opportunity to celebrate life's special moments with many "Girl Boss" clients! Bride's in the past, present AND future! Below we have showcased some of the amazing women we have had the pleasure of working with that - too - are cultivating a business that showcases their creativity and talents! Check them out, who knows - this may be the words you need to push you that extra little step into owning your own sweet business!

"Simply Oak Boutique is a quaint little shop nestled in the heart of a college campus, Elon University! We are a firm believer that “Life is is too short to wear boring clothes” so we make it our mission to always have fun, bright pieces that add a sense of style and confidence for our customers! We pride ourselves on carrying unique pieces that you wouldn’t typically find anywhere else and love hearing how excited people get when they find that perfect gift or outfit for themselves or someone else!

I absolutely love being a girl boss! It gives me a chance to connect with all types of women across my community and I get to help them feel more confident and beautiful each and everyday! The relationships and friendships that I form in the shop hold a special place in my heart and I wouldn’t be able to do what I love without each and every one of my sweet customers!"

"Ornamentation Shoppe started as a Christmas craft one holiday season. After delivering handmade ornaments to friends and family, I was encouraged to try selling them. My biggest goal when I opened the shop in July 2017 was to sell an ornament to a stranger. Two years later, I now have 351 sales on Etsy with 97 five star reviews!

Each ornament starts as a clear glass ball ornament. The majority of my ornaments are lined in glitter and then hand personalized in a script font. My best selling ornaments are baby gender announcements, baby's first Christmases, and engagement ornaments.

Recently I've also been playing around with paints, gold foil, and other metallics, I plan to release some of my new creations online and in local pop-up markets this fall. "

"I'm Morgan, the life and style blogger behind my site, How 2 Wear It.  I not only built my blog a creative outlet for myself, but I also wanted to give the everyday woman fashion tips on “How 2 Wear It” for any occasion in her life’s adventure! I'm a huge affordable style advocate and a lover of all things classic, everyday wearable, and of course a little glam! I love that my little corner of the internet has given me the opportunity to share my love of fashion with others and let me show my creative side!"

"Hi there - I’m Kristen, the hand behind Magnolia Pen & Paper! I am a calligrapher and stationery designer based in Greensboro, NC. I started learning calligraphy in November of 2016, shortly after getting engaged. During the wedding planning process, I fell in love with the look of fine stationery and custom calligraphy and I just knew I had to learn the art. Now, over two years later and happily married, I am thrilled to be sharing the craft I learned for my own wedding with other couples and clients for their weddings and special events.

The best part of being a calligrapher and stationery designer is getting to tell a client’s story though their paper goods and written pieces. Whether it be a sketch of their wedding flowers, a favorite Harry Potter reference hidden in their custom heraldry, or their names beautifully written out on their invitations - it never gets old capturing the details of a client’s life and love story in the pieces that I create.

Getting to be a Girl Boss doing what I love is a blessing and a gift that has far exceeded my hopes and dreams in so many ways. Perhaps the most incredible thing about it is the community of other Girl Bosses and Creatives that surround me and others every single day. Without the encouragement, coaching, and love from other creative women, I don’t know if I would have had the courage to take the leap into creative entrepreneurship in the first place. So, it’s needless to say that I am extremely thankful for all of these women and all that they do to encourage those around them. We lift each other up, we celebrate each other, and we foster a sense of grace and community for everyone in this creative space and it is so so wonderful!"

"Emily helps businesses brainstorm and develop their brand and marketing strategies and assists with the execution of email marketing campaigns, content creation, and photography. Her passion lies in working with better-for-you brands like natural skincare products and healthy food and beverages as well as female founded services and brands.

I love being a female entrepreneur because it gives me total freedom to work with companies and services that I feel passionate about and align with personally. I think our work together comes out with stronger results because of it. I also love that I can set my own schedule which might mean taking the day off early on Friday for a hike, a mid-afternoon dance party, and of course occasionally hitting snooze an extra time."
