When ATOS was invited to be a part of The Colonnade at Revolution Mill’s open house, I knew I wanted something light, airy, and different. I was immediately drawn to dimensional mauves, light lavender and a moody gray. By pulling this color pallet together with gold toned metals, we were able to create a dreamy mock cocktail area. We teamed up with several of the triad’s finest vendors to make this happen (see the vendor list below).
Using soft seating is a great way to have “conversational sets” to get your guests chatting to one another. It creates an inviting atmosphere for people to gather in groups and sit comfortably-with a cocktail in hand, and converse. We showcased two soft seating areas to give an idea of what this could look like for a cocktail hour in the lower level of The Colonnade’s space. By adding footed florals and floral stems in fun vases, you can make a soft seating area look polished.
