Olivia planned to marry the love of her life under blue skies by the peaceful pond at Adaumont Farm, but mother nature had plans of her own. With about three hours until ceremony time, the radar showed a nice patch of rain heading over the farm right at the exact moment “I do” was to be said. Our team spoke with Olivia, and she said, “As long as I am getting married today who cares where it happens!” And so, the RAIN PLAN set up commenced!
Olivia’s ceremony was moved to the side porch, which is a beautiful rain option if you are only expecting a pop-up shower or two. After vows were said and Austin and Olivia were pronounced Mr & Mrs, our team, along with help from the other amazing vendors, transformed the once ceremony space into the cocktail area. Guest mingled on the front porch and side porch, enjoying light refreshments before making their way into the main barn for the reception. Olivia’s combination of pale pinks and dusty blues made for a spring wedding dream on the eyes. Just Priceless transformed the main barn into what looked like a walk through a dreamy meadow.
In lieu of favors, Olivia and Austin chose to both pick their favorite charity and allow their guests to choose where their donation would go. It was an amazing way to give back to the community and really a nice way of allowing guests to be interactive. This showcased what is important to the bride and groom.
As soon as the dance floor opened it stayed packed until we sent the newly Mr. and Mrs. Adzima off on their way/ The day may not have turned out exactly how Olivia had planned, but I don’t think the rain ruined the dream wedding she had wanted in the slightest. She was one stunning bride!
